Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills

Manage comprehensive investigations through to reporting to the applicable governing authorities. Ensure maintenance of thorough investigation records.

5+ years’ experience in Financial Crimes investigations ideally within the financial sector

Knowledge of current Risk, Anti-Fraud, and Anti-Money Laundering obligations and frameworks

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to articulate complex technical information

The QC exercise includes review of Level 1 and 2 alerts and checking/verifying any STRs

Earn the respect of internal partners for knowledge applied and professional and balanced approach to investigations

Minimum 5 years’ experience in crime investigation/audit

Proven interview skills; proven report writing skills

Experience in gathering and preserving evidence and presenting the evidence before the courts

Skilled in all Microsoft Office computer applications

Able to lead by example through provision of knowledge, cooperation and teamwork

Maintains up-to-date knowledge and skills sets relevant for AML, TF, sanction and other regulatory matters to perform FIU / SIU investigations.

Strong investigative skills and understanding of financial transactions with AML investigative technology experience.

Prioritizes and manages investigations conducted by the FIU / SIU team, including monitoring performance and meeting established benchmarks.

Establishes and monitors team goals and objectives to manage workload and performance.

Knowledge of local and relevant international AML laws and regulations.

Strong writing and analytical skills.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills to facilitate change management

Excellent time and resource management skills

Experience in group benefits including pharmacy benefits an asset

Knowledge of provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and legislative requirements

Prior managerial experience an asset

5+ years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting

Conduct quality assurance reviews for the Team Manager as directed

Undergraduate degree in Finance or equivalent

Sound knowledge of banking platforms, clearing streams, ACH, SWIFT

Proven track record and solid experience within AML roles

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager

Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.

Prepare compliance data reports and trend analysis for the purpose of risk management and prevention.

Skills and experience you bring:

A JD/LL.B. and experience in human rights law are definite assets

Extensive interviewing, investigative and research skills, report writing and presentation skills.

Manages and organizes archives of video footage and historical records, ensuring adherence to MFIPPA, PPIDEA and other legal and procedural requirements.

3-5 years of experience working full-time in the field of Security or Law Enforcement

Experience working in/with the public sector

Experience with CCTV (March Networks, AXIS preferred)

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

Experience with Incident Reporting Software (Perspective preferred)

Undergraduate Degree in Law, Labour/Industrial Relations, or Business Administration, or equivalent related experience required

Minimum of 7 years related experience in HR/labour relations and/or legal experience in multi-site, unionized environment; conducting workplace investigations

Minimum of 5 years related experience coaching/mentoring and alternate dispute resolution techniques

Minimum 3 years related experience in leadership and managing complex projects

Experience in a highly unionized public sector environment preferred

Considerable experience in the development and implementation of workplace investigation policies, procedures and best practices
