A Claims Advisor is responsible for providing advice and assistance to customers who have made a claim on their insurance policy. They are responsible for assessing the validity of the claim, gathering evidence and making a decision on whether to accept or reject the claim. They must also provide advice and guidance to customers on the claims process and ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed correctly. To become a Claims Advisor, you will need to have excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills and a good understanding of the insurance industry. You may also need to have a relevant qualification in insurance or a related field.
