Performs daily computer data entry, generates reports, keeps accurate records on all cash, receipts, and disbursements.

Assists the general public with questions concerning animals, adoptions, licensing and other related shelter information.

Makes arrangements, appointments and host shelter tours.

Maintains logs for "pet wish list" and lost and found pets.

Maintains inventory of shelter supplies and equipment.

Completion of post secondary education

Post graduate education relevant to spiritual and religious care

3 to 5 years experience with seniors

Trained or experienced in multi-faith programming

Demonstrated knowledge and skill in using computers including Microsoft Office and Meditech.

Working knowledge of Universal Precautions and WHIMIS.

Minimum 2 years technical experience in a similar role (the handling and care of equipment) within a healthcare environment.

Demonstrated experience maintaining and stocking materials and supplies (both sterile and unsterile).

Grade 12 high school graduate diploma or equivalent.

Successful completion of CSAO Techniques course.

Working knowledge of computer technology with proficient typing skills

You are a team player with excellent communication, critical thinking and prioritization skills

Experience out patient scheduling and/or registration required

Recent unit secretary experience; preferably in a clinic/outpatient environment

Sound knowledge of medical terminology

Experience with patient scheduling and registration modules is essential; experience with Meditech is preferred

Superior time and project management skills to meet required deadlines

Experience teaching in adult education contexts is an asset

Direct experience with dental program accreditation process is required

Direct experience with business and operations of a dental clinic, including procurement of equipment is required

Direct experience with an academic dental care program strongly preferred

Required qualifications and professional experience:

Educate patients on proposed treatment care plans, manage interactions with patients both pre and post-phase.

Work closely with the Doctors/Clinicians and be involved in all aspects of the client experience.

At least five (5) years of sales experience.

Minimum Grade 11 or equivalent as recognized by the Province of Ontario Ministry of Education

Two (2) years of related health care experience

Recent PSP experience required, in critical care setting preferred

Recent PSP experience and experience mobilizing patients required

Experience as PAA on a Critical Care Unit preferred
