Overview An Apprentice Carpenter is a person who is in the process of learning the trade of carpentry. They are usually employed by a master carpenter or a carpentry company, and they are responsible for assisting in the construction of various woodworking projects. Detailed Job Description An Apprentice Carpenter is responsible for assisting the master carpenter in the construction of various woodworking projects. This includes measuring, cutting, and assembling wood, as well as using various tools and machines to complete the job. The Apprentice Carpenter may also be responsible for helping to install cabinets, doors, and other fixtures. They may also be required to help with the finishing of projects, such as sanding, staining, and painting. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to use power tools safely and accurately
• Ability to work with a variety of materials
• Attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina
• Good communication skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous carpentry experience is preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license

• Knowledge of woodworking materials
