We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecommunication Cable Repairer to join our dynamic team. As a Telecommunication Cable Repairer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of telecommunication networks. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in telecommunication cables, ensuring uninterrupted communication services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to resolve complex problems.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of the telecommunication network.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in telecommunication cables, including copper and fiber-optic cables.
• Use specialized equipment and tools to test, locate, and repair cable issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices related to telecommunication cable repairs.
• Conduct cable splicing and termination to establish or restore communication links.
• Keep accurate records of repair activities, cable inventories, and maintenance logs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while working at heights or in confined spaces.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiarity with cable fault-locating equipment and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites when required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience as a Telecommunication Cable Repairer or in a similar role is a significant advantage.
• Certification or training in telecommunications, cable repair, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunication cable types, splicing techniques, and testing procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces with attention to safety protocols.
