Technical Product Manager Jobs

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join a large Insurance company in the GTA. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for supporting the largest most significant diamond application for their Canadian Segment. As a member of the Critical Engineering & Transformation team, this individual will be directly leading the platform that interacts with every web application and mobile application use by customers and advisors. The successful candidates must have a strong technical background, a deep understanding on IAM, and excellent business acumen to be able to drive the business outcomes and multi-year strategy.

Must Haves:

• Exceptional technical aptitude and ability to drive outcomes
• Experience building long term technical strategies for the platform and building and establishing a multi-month backlog of technical stories
• Knowledge of Architecture
• Strong understanding of IAM and security protocols such as Oauth2, AuthN/AuthZ
• Ability to work hand in hand with the architects, engineering managers, IAM team and business product owners (risk & compliance, marketing, digital, etc.)
• Experience writing technical stories in IAM that are ready for development
• Excellent business acumen and ability to drive business outcomes and multi-year technical strategies for the platform
• Engineering background
• Strong understanding of microservices, test automation frameworks and compilation times for java applications
