Working from a home office you will manage all aspects of engagements with existing and new customers for our Smart Energy Department. You will build relationships and understand customer business in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. You will define sales and growth strategy toward key customers while aligning with critical sales business objectives. You will identify opportunities and build credibility with customers. Utilize your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to the customers
Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to travel for periods up to one week.
• Establish Rapport with Customers
• Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle
• Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition
• Negotiate and Close
• Manage and Plan Accounts
• Up to 50% travel required within the Eastern and Central Canadian regions
• Identify Opportunities and manage the sales pipeline

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE

• Valid Drivers License
• 7+ years of experience in account management and business development
• 3+ years of experience in account management for electrical and utility metering, smart energy and smart city projects
• Post-secondary Education

WE VALUE

• Experience responding to complex RFPs for technical solutions involving products and services
• Well organized and results-driven
• Competency with Salesforce.com, or other CRM management tools
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience with electric and utilities preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Bilingual French and English will be valued
• Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization, including C-level
• Experience managing channel and distribution partners
• Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management technical field
• Experience selling the value proposition for complex software and services solutions
