Server Administrator Jobs

Adecco is currently hiring a full-time, Server Administrator to work a 2-year Contract for one of our top clients, a market leader majoring in providing safe, innovative energy solutions, located in Regina, SK. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of recent and practical server administration experience, a class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's license, and be able to attend meetings, possibly overnight, on occasion. The successful candidate will work within the existing team to help design and implement the various components of the Hyper-V, Microsoft Server and Cisco UCS infrastructure. • Minimum 5 years of recent and practical experience with server administration
• Work with server patch management processes and procedures to facilitate deployment

• Shifts: Monday-Friday; 8 AM- 5 PM
• Manage and maintain server disaster recovery, including planning, implementation, maintenance, and testing
• Vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque
• Experience with SCADA and Industry Control is an asset
• Monitor, performance tune, troubleshoot and resolve system problems to ensure system availability
• Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's license,
• Provide expert technical support, design, and implementation on Microsoft Server and Hyper-V environments
• Interact with our user base (corporate and field employees) on an as-needed basis regarding technology issues and escalations
• Provide infrastructure architecture recommendations
• Act as a representative of the Networks & Infrastructure department Requirements:

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures when carrying out position responsibilities
• Proven proficiency with server and storage security best practices
• Manage and maintain the configuration, administration, upgrade, and maintenance of operational technology servers and related infrastructure
• Understanding of enterprise-level on-premise server architecture
• Knowledge of integrations of an on-premise environment
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft on-premise server design, implementation, and administration
• Location: Regina, SK
• Help prepare plans for the development and installation of server and storage according to present and future requirements
• Proven proficiency in Hyper-V architecture, design, and implementation
• Handle the design, implementation, documentation, administration and troubleshooting of the enterprise server environment
• North American job experience is an asset
• Pay rate: Negotiable
• Maintain systems integrity through change control and problem management procedures and communication with internal customers
