Job Description
New opportunity for Glaziers looking for full time work In Coquitlam, Bc.
Our team is growing massively and we are looking to expand to take on more business. We are currently seeking Glaziers with 2-5 years experience working on residential sites installing, maintaining and repairing glass, aluminum, and other materials. We are looking for individuals who can identify potential problems with measures, orders, or products and keep an close eye on cost efficiency and deadlines. We are looking for someone who can keep up with the physical demands of this role while working directly with our customers and your team. The hired individual will be able to operate the company vehicle from site to site with compensation. If you hold a Red Seal, that would be a huge plus but not required to be considered, we are willing to help you get there! Details:
Day Shift: Monday to Thurs (4 x 10/hr shifts)
Time: 7:30AM-5:00PM (options out of town or overtime shifts)
Wage: $60-75/ hr depending on your level of experience!
Location: Coquitlam, BC
Full-Time/ Permanent Position
Class 5 needed for company vehicle operation

Responsibilities
  • Install, Maintain and Repair residential build materials such as glass and aluminum for windows, doors, partitions and more
  • Assist with site preparation and inventory tracking
  • Some heavy lifting needed up to 50lbs when working with materials such as doors or glass
  • Work with table saws, or hand tools to trim pieces for proper fit if needed
  • Checking sizing and measurements and quality control to ensure our customers order are exactly to there requirements
  • Open to out of town jobs or Overtime as needed for emergency orders or repairs (optional)
  • Travel sites to work with our customers directly with a small team of workers
Qualifications
  • Experience handling glass and aluminum products a plus
  • Know which units will come glazed or not and being able to identify the difference
  • Critical thinker and can work alone or very closely with a small team
  • Having experience working on residential sites in a similar field is preferred. 1-2 years
  • Abie to work outdoors for a majority of the day
  • You MUST have a valid driver's license to operate any company vehicles
  • You are located in the Coquitlam, BC area and can travel to different job sites
