As the Regional Director, this role is responsible for leading the business with the objective of growing a large and profitable network of Aesthetic medicine clinics, both organically and through acquisitions. Having ultimate P&L responsibility for business for all clinics in your territory including managing the entire teams, ensuring sales and service performance, ensuring that Dermapure best practices are applied and optimizing all operational aspects.
The Regional Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer of Dermapure while working closely with the executive team and other head office department such as marketing, accounting, training and customer service. (Ontario (Ottawa-Kingston : out of GTA)
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Business plan
- Participate in the development of the business plan for the assigned region;
- Lead the execution of the business plan;
- Participate in the acquisition plan, primarily with the operational integration responsibility;
- Lead the operational aspect of the integration process to ensure adoption of Dermapure culture, structure and protocols.
Operational management
- Ensure optimal workflow at each clinic;
- Identify, propose and implement best practices for operational excellence and continuous improvements;
- Manage suppliers’ relationships at the local level;
- Ensure consistent application of company protocols and procedures;
- Optimize the inventory management and implement appropriate inventory management control systems with the accounting team as needed;
- Lead and supervise all operations with the clinics directors;
Sales and performance management
- Analyse monthly financial statements and provide recommendations and initiatives for improvement for each clinic under your supervision as well as for your region globally;
- Collaborate with finance and upper management in establishing and updating the budget and forecast;
- Optimize all aspects of the sales funnel and service level;
- Monitor and manage monthly dashboards and discuss initiatives and actions plan in order to meet the goals and targets;
- Work as part of marketing team to develop, establish or adapt marketing program to the assigned region.
- Manage weekly sales and performance of each clinic under your supervision and explain any variances;
Human resources management
- Hire, train, motivate, evaluate and manage our western directors and administrative team.
- Work with head office for new employee contracts/set up.
- Manage relationships and communications with MD’s in collaboration with the upper management;
- Ensure continuous training of all staff with the head office.
- Support our clinic directors in the recruitment, training and motivation of their team.
- Be an inspiring leader of Dermapure culture and experience.
- Maintain a positive work climate and resolve concerns or issues as they arise.
Quality and service level assurance
- Ensure procedures and protocols are followed;
- Make sure of patients’ satisfaction is reached;
- Maintain a high standard of customer service;
- Perform any other duties that may be related to the position.
Qualifications and experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-directed, and extremely proactive/ independent thinker.
- Ability to lead, coach and mentor staff.
- Experience in service business industry.
- Experience with acquisitions would be an asset.
- University degree in management, administration or relevant field.
- Problem solver, results-oriented and excellent team player.
- Strong business acumen to analyze KPIs and financial reports to meet and exceed targets.
- Experience in the medical field would be an asset.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage team.
- Ability to adapt and be nimble to a fast growing and evolving business.
- High sense of integrity and strong business ethics.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar or relevant position.
It's a remote position based in Ontario.
