As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Production Operator to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide superb work experience.

Position Overview:

The Production Operator is responsible for ensuring the correct setup and tooling requirements are organized and available to meet production demands on the set up of equipment in the Production Department.

This position is reporting to the Supervisor of the department.

What you will be doing:

• Performs the setup and tear down
• Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up, and 5 S requirements
• Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to
• Notifies the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrences
• Conducts required quality checks to ensure the product is in compliance and in the specification
• Documents and records all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements
• Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies
• Performs equipment operational checks and does basic troubleshooting

What you bring along:

• Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy
• Conscientious and punctual
• Written and oral aptitude in English
• Good mathematical skills
• Willing to learn
• Ability to meet prescribed production standards
• Good interpersonal and communicative skills
• Experience & knowledge of production equipment
• Min. grade 12 or equivalent education
• Manual dexterity – the ability to use common tools
