Product Designer (Ux) Jobs

Our Toronto-based client is looking for a Product Designer (UX) to join their team!

Role:

As a Product Designer (UX), you will be responsible for defining, creating, and maintaining design systems and standards, as well as working closely with stakeholders, end-users, and engineers to ensure the product meets client qualifications. You will be expected to interface with many teams across the business to create product designs that are visually appealing, functional, and adaptive. You will be expected to have expertise in all aspects of design, from concept to implementation.

Salary:

• Starting at $80,000 - $100,000

Work Type:

• Must be flexible accommodate core hours in EST
• Remote – Canada (Canadian office is in Toronto)

Responsibilities:

• Identify, investigate, and validate complex design problems.
• Designing accessible solutions for responsive adaptive web design and mobile web.
• Work with internal stakeholders, end users, and engineers to bring our best ideas to life.
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes while maintaining a level of quality.
• Understanding a start-up environment
• Leading all aspects of design across the entire life-cycle of your product team’s projects.
• Constantly iterate on and enforce design standards across the product.

Requirements:

• Portfolio showcasing past and current work.
• Comfort level interfacing with and presenting to stakeholders
• 3+ years working in UX/UI/product design,
• Experience with contributing to design systems/style guides.
• Experience with low- and high-fidelity prototyping/design tools (such as Sketch and Figma)
• Experience with quality assurance practices.
• Experience from a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience working collaboratively with other departments, like Marketing, Sales, and CS.
• Experienced in working with Prototyping Applications (InVision, Figma).

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with front-end development: HTML, CSS
• Comfort with both digital and traditional design disciplines
