Job Description
Note: The role is open for Canadian and US nationals, residents (with a valid authorization to work for BMO). Work location is flexible and is with flexibility to be in 100% in-office or hybrid .


Owns the development and execution of BMO's commercial deposit growth initiatives in partnership with all B2B business units. Achieves results in partnership with senior / executive leaders and key representatives using a consultative, team based approach.


The Commercial Deposits team is looking for strong ex-consulting / strategy talent to partner with / lead:


  • Finance and Corporate Treasury partners to align forecasting, financial management, and pricing decisions.
  • Product managers to align the product shelf and new product development roadmaps o build winning propositions for client segments and industries to bring the whole of BMO to our clients.
  • Sales enablement teams to drive strategic initiatives for deposit growth.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
  • Senior business stakeholders to understand, and contribute to deposit growth strategy development.
  • Leads change management programs of varying scope and type, including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives.


The candidate must have the following key skills:


  • Create executive ready presentations for senior and executive forums.
  • Analyze and problem solve using a hypothesis led approach (incl. quantitative modeling skills).
  • Understand and synthesize key market trends and competitive research to inform deposit growth strategies.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems into discrete packets of work.
  • Communicate and influence senior stakeholders.



Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting or strategy related roles.
  • University or post-secondary degree in business / engineering / sciences / finance / or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Collaboration & team skills; with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth / Expert.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge (Banking experience preferred but not mandatory).
  • Influence skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth / Expert.
  • Data driven decision making - In-depth / Expert.
  • Able to manage ambiguity.
