Junior Process Engineer-In-Training Jobs

• Assist with procurement activities, including developing/issuing RFQ documents and performing initial analysis of quotations.
• Supports engineering design to size/select individual components that support overall system design, such as piping systems, chemical feed systems, and process-specific treatment systems
• Update and contribute to project deliverable requirements
• Assists in process design and equipment sizing for Swirltex wastewater treatment systems
• Assist with the commissioning of water/wastewater infrastructure Qualifications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Experience in the following key technology areas: ultrafiltration, DAF, Settling clarifiers, biological treatment, wastewater nutrient removal (ammonia, nitrates, phosphorus), metals removal.
• Installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites;
• Travel: Up to 20%;
• Collect and analyze data specific to project scope
• 1 to 5 years' experience in a technical role in the wastewater treatment industry;
• Coordinate with the drafting team to develop detailed design drawings
• Minimum 2 years directly involved in the design/fabrication/installation/operation of water and/or wastewater treatment systems
• Support development of front-end contract specifications for procurement

• Assess existing water/wastewater infrastructure
• B.Sc. in Engineering. Degrees in Civil, Civil-Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering are preferred
• Collect background data on water/wastewater infrastructure and community requirements
• Create training materials and train customers and operators on Swirltex technology;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment with engineers, trades, programmers, and technical professionals; Location and Travel
• Registered with APEGA and in good standing
• Actively communicate and engage stakeholders;
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
• Analyze data on water/wastewater infrastructure
• Assist with construction management activities, such as reviewing budgets, schedules, shop drawings, requests for information enquiries, contractor progress claims, material performance test reports, etc.
