Overview:
Our fast-paced and dynamic sports and entertainment organization is seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Graphic Designer to join our team. As the Graphic Designer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the fan experience at our live events including hockey games, concerts, and other live events. The successful candidate must be driven, able to manage multiple projects at once and be great to work with a team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including print, digital, and social media
- Develop high-quality visual designs for marketing materials that promote our hockey games, concerts, and other live events, including posters, billboards, social media graphics, and email templates
- Create digital assets for screens, signs, and other displays at our live events that enhance the fan experience
- Participate in new brand development and design branding materials, including logos, color palettes, and brand guidelines that reflect the excitement and energy of our live events
- Update the organization's website with new design elements and graphics that promote our live events and enhance the fan experience
- Develop creative for email campaigns and other digital marketing initiatives that drive attendance at our live events
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver designs on time and to a high standard
- Work with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure designs meet stakeholder needs
- Stay up to date with design trends and techniques to ensure designs are innovative and cutting-edge
- Work with print vendors and other third-party partners to ensure designs are print-ready and meet brand standards
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas for marketing campaigns that promote our live events and enhance the fan experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Excellent design skills with the ability to create visually compelling designs that engage audiences
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver designs on time
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Passion for sports, live music, and other live events
- Demonstrated ability to create designs that enhance the fan experience at live events
- Photography skills and experience in creating engaging content for social media are an asset
- Fluency in English is required for this position, and proficiency in French is considered an asset
