Job Description
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Graphic Designer II on a temporary basis for our Creative Services team.


Calling all creatives! Are you a strong communicator that is eager to create impactful designs for a diverse group of stakeholders? This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills on a variety of special projects across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).


This position is a hybrid opportunity and based in Saskatoon, SK. The team is currently working primarily from home, coming into the office one to two days a week.


What You’ll Do


  • Create multi-channel marketing campaigns and promotions for print and digital applications.
  • Effectively collaborate with team members, production artists, and copywriters to produce original work.
  • Provide insights and observations into new trends, tactics, and marketing channels to ensure relevant and innovative work is continually produced.
  • Complete other duties as required.
  • Produce original, impactful, high-quality designs that adhere to brand standards and support objectives identified by FCL and local Co-ops.


Who You’ll Work With


You will work closely with other Graphic Designers and will report into the Creative Supervisor. This energetic team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, working closely with production artists, copywriters, and one another to produce original work.

Who You Are


You are looking for a career in Strategy & Communications and


  • Have experience in packaging and décor design.
  • Have a strong understanding of typography and layout.
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of applied design fundamentals and current digital technologies.
  • Have experience in photography, illustration, and/or UX design.
  • Are proficient with Adobe Creative Suite package.
  • Have a diploma in Graphic Design and 3-5 years of graphic design experience; or you have a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and 1-3 years of experience in graphic design.
