Job Duties / Accountabilities

• Analysis, validation, investigation and journalization of multiple accounting transactions
• Journalization of supplier payments
• Investigate and analyse requests from investigation group
• Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation and variance analysis/explanations
• Execute other related tasks as requested
• Analysis and correction of Tax Exception reports
• Warehouse Accounting: Journal Entry input
• Prepare, process and journalize Wire Payments

Essential Qualifications / Competencies

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Analytical spirit and attentiveness to detail
• Knowledge of SAP system
• Aptitude to effectively communicate information by telephone or written
• Autonomy, initiative, creativity and ability to work within restricted timeline
• A test will be administered to assess accounting skills
• Bilingualism required: Maintaining professional relationships with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada is critical to this position.
• CEGEP D.E.C. or D.E.P. in Accounting, or related work experience
• Communication and building interpersonal relationships important

Working Conditions

• Possibility of occasional overtime
• 37.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday
